06:21am - Pathetic

Pathetic that although the Labour party have been handed a humiliating defeat, losing seat after seat after seat to massive swings, they should be able to completely fucking ignore our message and plan to just carry on in Government, deaf to the views of the nation.

Pathetic that the Lib Dems, who rose to fame after a good performance on a television programme, yet who look like ending up with fewer seats than they had before the election, should be in a position to dictate what happens next; to decide who gets power and who gets ignored; to be 'Kingmakers'

Pathetic that the Conservatives, who have had to oppose the most inept, corrupt and incompetent party for years, led by the most widely disliked Prime Minister for years, should still be completely unable to persuade the public to give them even the tiniest of majorities.

The whole fucking thing is pathetic.

Fuck the lot of them.

Mac-Climatey Brown

So, the Copenhagen COP15 climate summit has ended in confusion, disarray and total lack of agreement. What a surprise.

And what of our beloved non-elected leader? The man who announced that he had "50 days to save the world"?

He appeared, threw billions of our money about, boasted that he'd beat everyone else's cuts, and desperately searched the corridors and cupboards for the man he loves, Obama Beach.

But then, when everything began to unravel, what did he do? When five of the major nations got together to fling together a compromise, who represented us?

Nothing and no-one.

As ever, when Brown realised there was going to be no glory in this for him, he lost interest. When he became aware that there was no chance to make the Tories look bad, he couldn't see the point any more.

When it looked this conference was going to fail, what did Gordon "courage" Brown do?

Why, Mac-Climatey Brown upped and vanished.

The luck of the Irish

The Irish get all the luck. They get a Government, and a Finance Minister, who actually admit that they're in a deep recession, and that drastic action must be taken.

And what do we get? We get Alistair 'Eyebrows' Darling standing there pretending that nothing's wrong after all. "A position of strength". For fuck's sake.

The Irish get a budget, yesterday, openly described as "medicine" for the terrible state they're in.

We get a budget designed solely to make Labour look good, and the Tories look bad. To create political dividing lines, rather than balance the bloody books.

The Irish have cut back on welfare payments - less for 'jobseekers' and less on benefits overall. Share the pain.

We won't. We'll continue to pour vast amounts of cash all over "the welfare", Labour's core vote. We've even increased a couple of welfare payments, as a little pre-election bribe.

And to fund that, we get a second increase in National Insurance, and a sneaky fiddle with tax bands, so that those that do work pay yet more tax on their income. 52% and rising, folks.

The Irish get public sector paycuts across the board. Even the Taoiseach gets a 20% pay cut.

We get Gordon Brown and his fucking useless cronies still taking the same (totally undeserved) salaries and expenses, and the masses get cheaper bingo, so that we might not notice.

The Irish get an emergency budget that reflects the gravity of the situation, and makes deep, painful cuts to remedy it.

We get a Mickey Mouse, class envy, grandstanding, will-never-be-collected, "spank the banks" bonus tax.

Those lucky, lucky Irish.

Boy arrives late, fibs about where he's been

Arriving late and out of breath, after everybody else had read out their homework, Gordon Brown told a fib about his.

He said he'd done it all himself, and not copied it from anyone else. He also said that he'd been working on it for "ages" and everybody else that had seen it said that he had all the answers right.

No, fuck it, CF can't keep up the light parody tone, as he surveys the latest hatful of crap to have been delivered to a contemptuous nation by the PM, as he tries to address the MP's expenses scandal.

Firstly, this was a pathetic, belated, blatant attempt at catch up when Cameron -- and even "wait 'n' see" Clegg -- had already taken decisive action. CallMeDave may not have gone far enough for many, but he at least announced clearly what was going to happen on the same day as the Telegraph published the offending details. Labour expense claims began drip-dripping out last week, and the silence has been deafening.

Secondly, Brown, can you not open your fucking mouth without lying, spinning or both?

The spin:

"It is not enough for one or two MPs to make announcements here and there."

No, it isn't. But its a fucking start. And not a start made by you, or by your parties MP's, who must be delighted that you seem unwilling to blame, let alone criticise, them for their troughing.

The lie:

"I have been discussing this for days and we have been looking at this matter for some time. We had hoped to make some progress yesterday and now all parties are prepared to accept this."

Within minutes of this, two senior MPs on the committee said Mr Brown was “misrepresenting” what had been agreed and pointed out there was no “done deal”.

Dear God. Just go, would you?

An anti-Dave petition? Nice try

Somebody in the bowels of the Labour spin machine ("adverts to irritate you, paid for by you") has noticed that a huge number of people have signed the "Oh, do fuck off Gordon" petition. Over 52,000 in fact. That's quite a groundswell of popular opinion, eh? Pretty hard for the target to ignore. (but clearly not impossible, because he bloody well is ignoring it)

So, the spinner thought, imagine if we could have a similar petition to damage that nasty Dave.

And here it is.

The page, for those that really can't be arsed to visit it (good, keep the hits down) claims

"David Cameron has refused to commit to maintaining child benefit and winter fuel allowances at the same level as the Labour Government"

The evil bastard. So that's his secret plan. How could he? Something must be done. The site bleats on

He talks of an “age of austerity” but he must answer the question “austerity for who?” Sign our petition now to help request an answer…

And that's it. Sign our petition to make the Leader of the Opposition answer a rhetorical question. What the fuck?

Pathetic. No really. Pathetic.

UPDATE: as a commenter points out "Austerity for who?" is not even a grammatically correct sentence. For fuck's sake.
