The long campaign
Vote Labour, because the Leader of the Conservatives went to an expensive private school;
Vote Conservative, because the Prime Minister is a poor public speaker, and will never answer a question properly;
Vote independent, because even an elderly TV presenter could do a better job;
Vote Lib Dem, because the Conservatives would change a minor tax rule;
Vote BNP, because you don't like Labour any more
Vote UKIP, because the Conservatives won't promise a referendum about a treaty that has already been signed.
Vote Green, because the BNP are racist;
Jesus, we could face another 6 months of this.

My advice, for what it's worth, is vote "None of the above". Go to the poll, do not tick any name, just write "None of the above". If enough do this the establishment political class will have to take notice that deep political reform is needed.These politicians know that their legitimacy derives from the voter, any voter. Refused votes=no legitimacy.Nothing else reaches them.
Vote LPUK* because your tired of other people making decisions for you.
(*= if you have a ln LPUK representative; donations and candidates welcome!)
Anonymous 09:55 - I've done that several times, But I don't just write "None of the above". I usually write something along the lines of "You're all useless and none of you deserves my vote". Years ago I was involved in the counting at a General Election and it was only then I realised that all spoiled papers are shown to the candidates' representatives. You can be as rude as you like and be sure your message will get to the recipients.
I concur on the agreeable nature of a mass spoiling of ballot papers.
Hmmm, mass spoiled papers might just send a message to our political leaders, expecially as they do get to see all the spoiled ballots.
If Guido can do it, I don't see why we can't get some sort of anti-vote campaign going.
Seriously: I've been spoiling my papers ever since NuLabour moved to the right of Genghis Khan. Not to get a movement going - I just can't bring myself to simply not turn up.
