Wheels of Justice for Hattie?

Months and months after the event. Harriet 'Hattie' Harman has finally graciously agreed to spare some of her valuable time to the police, who've been wanting to talk with her about the small matter of a car accident.

Back in July, she drove into a parked car, whilst - wait for it - talking on her mobile 'phone.

Now that's fucking priceless.

Imagine if the makers of some crappy comedy programme on Channel 4 had dared to show a woman driver so busy nattering on her mobile 'phone that she drove straight into a stationary vehicle.

There would have been an immediate feminist Twitter-mob, outraged at the defamation, followed by a statement from Hatty expressing her disgust at the outrageous sexist bias shown by the programme makers, followed, probably, by one of the producers of the programme being smeared as a kiddie fiddler.

But it gets worse. As well as having this cute and ditzy little crash - oooh you silly girl - Harriet then did the one thing you're not supposed to do.

Put the car back into gear, quick check in the mirror, and then got the fuck out of there.

As she roared off, she shouted a message for the little people who'd gathered to watch:

"I'm Harriet Harman - you know where you can get hold of me"

But you know what, Ms Harperson? That's not legal. You can't actually do that, no matter how terrifically important you think you are. Even if you are deputy Leader of the Labour Party, you're not above the fucking law.

And as Deputy Leader of the Labour Party, the silly bitch doesn't even need to be driving while on the phone - we already pay for her fucking chauffeur-driven car - so what the fuck was she doing driving herself, with apparently urgent phone calls to make?

Earlier this year, a police source said:

'If prosecuted and convicted for failing to stop after accident she could face up to six months' imprisonment.."

Yeah, right.  Like that's going to fucking happen. Much as CF would love to see Hatty H. behind bars, it'll be a cold day in hell before an MP even has to pay a fucking parking ticket.

Just as with every other occasion these fucking odious MP's have broken the law, this shit won't stick.

Hit and run springs to mind. I wonder if anyone would call her an ambulance?

Yeah, I'd lean over her crumpled body and say; "You're an ambulance."

One rule for them...another for mere mortals such as you & I.
Not a fucking chance she'll be up in Court. Plods protect their own & she's part & parcel of that.
It's called corruption.

It would be a driving ban for the rest of us. Now Harriet heres your chance to show equality in action !!!

That this matter has been permitted to drag on for so long without her being interviewed under caution is an absolute disgrace and the head or heads of people in the Met Police should roll for it ..

There have, I'm willing to bet been ample opportunities for her to be interviewed .. the fact that she hasn't been stinks to high heaven of Corruption, Dereliction Of Duty & possibly Conspiracy to Pervert The Course of Justice ..

I don't think you realise just how busy and important this lady is CF. Looks like the police do though:-(

Captain Haddock said...

There is no earthly reason why Harman couldn't have been interviewed post-RTA by Sussex Police in Brighton, whilst at the Conference & the Statement Forms (which are National) sent to the Met for further action ..

In fact, there even exists a Nationally agreed format where one Police Force can request another to take a Statement (if needs be under caution) on their behalf .. It's called "OBSTAT" (Obtain Statement) ..

"Be you ever so high, the law is above you"

So said the great Lord Denning.

Now let's see them prove it.

I had the enormous pleasure of meeting & chatting with Lord Denning once ..

Now there was a man who fully deserved to be ennobled .. a thoroughly nice man and a Gentleman to boot ..

Sadly, they don't make 'em like that any longer ..
