Brown: new depths of cynicism

We all know very well that Gordon Brown, our unelected Prime Minister, is the most shameless and cynical politician ever to hold the post.

In recent days, the one-eyed imbecile has surpassed even his own usual standards of dishonesty and naked self-interest.

As was predicted on Friday, Broon was more than comfortable to sit in front of the Iraq enquiry and tell blatant, barefaced lies.

Without blushing, and keeping a completely straight face, Gordo' told the panel, and the world..

“Every request that the military commanders made to us for equipment was answered. No request was ever turned down .. The spending review of 2004 was welcomed by the chiefs of our defence staff. They were satisfied at the end of the review that they had the resources they needed."

Oh really? Really? So, 'Chiefs of our defence staff', is that true?

Lord Guthrie, formerly one of those chiefs of the defence staff, is not so sure. Actually, he near as dammit calls Brown the liar he is:

“He cannot get away with saying I gave them everything they asked for, that is simply disingenuous... To say the outcome of that process was ‘welcome’ is frankly hyperbole."

Hyperbole? Utter bollocks would have been more accurate.

So, as we thought, Brown was lying. Glibly, easily. Once again, he bullshits his way out of situation, in a way that would do a chocolate-smeared toddler no credit. 'No I didn't'.

And just when we thought his cynicism, his opportunism, his 'couldn't-give-a-shit-ism' could go no further, what does he do?

Why, the lying, cheating, dishonest git turns up grinning in Afghanistan. What? What?

For fuck's sake, man. You deprive the Forces of money, and therefore of equipment, training and manpower. You create an environment where people are killed and injured entirely because they are ill-equipped to fight.

You then lie, on camera, to the public and to an official inquiry, claiming - in direct contradiction of people who were also there at the time - that you happily gave the Forces all the money they asked for, all the support they needed.

And then, and then, you fucking well turn up in Afghanistan, just to shake hands with the survivors, for a pre-election photo opportunity?

Why in the name of Christ, Gordo, would anyone want you to remain Prime Minister for a second longer?

You don't deserve the post. You don't deserve a single vote.
