Wanna bet?
So, at long last, those pre-election TV debates have been agreed. Clegg and Cameron are pleased, Brown is, apparently, 'relishing the opportunity'.
Yeah, Gordo, you probably are. Not the opportunity to showcase your achievements - there aren't many. Not the opportunity to set out your agenda, your policies: you don't have many.
No, what Gordon is relishing is the chance to trot out his tired ol' negative spin, his endless attacks on 'they' and 'them': the 'Tories'. That's all he and his little writers have managed to do this year, or indeed ever.
So how about a bet? Does anybody want to bet that Gordo' will talk more about the Labour party, about their achievements and about what they'll do if they win another term, than he'll talk about the Tories, what they 'wooood' have done, what they might do, and how terrible they'd be?
We'll analyse it, sentence by sentence. If he manages, if the majority of the transcript is about Labour and what they'll do, then CF will pay ten quid to each of you who take the bet.
If Gordon fails - yet again - to do this, and instead just spins against, lies about, attacks and mocks the Tories with the majority of his words, then you'll pay CF a tenner.
Easy money?

I am looking forward to a game of "Brown Bingo" and will eagerly mark off all the usuall platitudes and stock robotic phrases such as
" Many not the Few "
" We will not pass by on the other side "
" The do nothing tories"
" Global this and global that "
" My Father used to say to me "
" Moral compass"
BINGO !!!!!
I will not be taking any of that action thanks CF.
maybe we should have a drinking game for Gordon's phrases. I'd be too drunk to care after the first couple of questions.
We (ie us proles a.k.a. the voting public) are supposedly going to be "allowed" to pose questions by email......sounds like a challenge to me.
I'll take you on...one debate or all three?
"If Gordon fails - yet again - to do this, and instead just spins against, lies about, attacks and mocks the Tories with the majority of his words, then you'll pay CF a tenner.
