Isn't Tim Ireland a hoot?

You know sometimes, you really hate someone, and you want bad things to happen to them, so you attack them and attack them and attack them; then afterwards you think about what you did and realise it was a bit excessive and you begin to feel a bit ashamed.

Do you think Tim Ireland / bloggerheads feels like that?

What do you think, Iain Dale? If CF recalls correctly, you know about those "certain left of centre blogs" don't you?

(With thanks to Chicken Yoghurt, whose twittering reminded CF that he'd seen these twitters go by earlier and done nothing about them)

UPDATE: Tim won't let CF's comment through in his blog, but he has responded through the comments here. Apparently (for those who can't be arsed to read the comments here):

Your comment by my place is off-topic and won't be published under the submitted thread, but I'll happily answer your question here; in context, it's fair comment of a media event and priorities involving a woman who was already ducking for cover behind that 'suicide' nonsense.

Fair comment? "Nadine is nearly as bad as a baby rapist"? Twittered three times in ten minutes? Do you know, Tim, we're just going to have to agree to differ there. For fucks sake ...

"Nadine is nearly as bad as a baby rapist"Show me where I said this.

In those ten minutes, she went from being the lead item to being second to a baby rapist.

The BBC blurting 'baby rapist' type-stories in the middle of the day is a bit of an issue for some people, too. - and the whole Baby P issue has been cynically exploited by many on the right (some of whom put this trial at risk by allowing publication of certain names).

It is fair comment to acknowledge that at some level Dorries would be grateful for any cover at this stage. At least.

That this provided that cover was noteworthy. I noted it.

1. Noted it
2. Confirmed what I was talking about; Dorries went from lead to second
3. Posted a comment on priorities facing opinion columnists
4. Moved on

I didn't make constant unfair/irrelevant references to it on my website for hours/days/months on end like some people I could mention, and there was no intention of guilt by association, I can assure you. Nadine Dorries broke the rules; why would I need to smear her as being somehow like a baby rapist?

You are thinking, implying, and even claiming in places that I did something altogether darker by pointing out that from about 11am that day she was no longer Monster of the Day.

PS - Your comment was not allowed where it was submitted as it was off-topic, and you know that, but you didn't have the courtesy to acknowledge that on my site as you did on others.

Nadine is the sort of stupid cunt woman who should never be allowed near politics. They just totally take the piss and then when it's pointed out they go all girly with their poor wee me shite. Blokes can't do that cos everyone would just laugh. But women use the extra protections that society has provided for them to attack anyone who scrutinises their behaviour. And this will always be a problem until we stop treating females as defenceless children and ask them to take responsibility like adults.

It's not as if we're getting any added value having these bitches in public life. Most of them are a useless waste of space occupying positions that would be better handled by men. But when they won't take responsibility for their actions, what the fuck is the point of them?

Even women who have to work under them would have prefer to work under a man because the bitches just don't seem capable of handling authority without being ridiculously bossy and pissing everyone off.

It's about time this ridiculous PC experiment in social engineering was brought to an end and woman had their very obvious limitations explained to them in no uncertain manner.
